The Rules in Brief

A brief outline of the Rules are set out below.

  • Each contender will need to be a full member of csma at the time of registration.
  • The Championship will be over five events held at several different locations throughout the year, with the best four results to count for each registered driver. Tracks & dates will be declared at the Rye House Raceway on Monday 21st January 2008 during a pre-season warm up event.
  • The Championship will be FREE to enter but there will be an Entry Fee for EACH round. This fee will not exceed £100 per driver and will include non-Championship racing to fill the rest of each racing day.
  • Championship points will be awarded to registered participants who take part at each Round. Points will only be awarded to Drivers who are registered before the start of the Event that points are being claimed for.
  • There will be three weight categories :… under 80kgs, 80 to 100kgs; and over 100kgs.
  • All events will be preceded by a Race-ready weigh-in.
  • The top 5 finishers in each category at each event will earn points in a descending order : ie :- 1st 6points, 2nd 4points, 3rd 3points, 4th 2points, 5th 1point. In addition, each registered contender will be awarded 3 points at each Round they enter before the closing date provided they Sign on, and contest the event on the day!
  • Late entries MAY be accepted but the additional 3 ‘start points’ will be forfeited.

Trophies & Awards will be presented immediately following a Grand Finale which will be held at a prestigious event and venue at the end of the year.

Points/Championship positions will be published on our website as soon as practical after each Round.

A minimum requirement of 36 drivers will need to ‘sign-up’ to the Championship and each will need to register prior to the first event in March 2008.

In the unlikely event of a dispute of any kind regarding the Championship and/or it’s heats , the judgement of the Championship co-ordinator, Allan Goddard, will be final and absolute.
