This is an 'Exclusive to csma Club Members' Karting Championship contested over five events between March and September and a grand final event held at Rye House in October.

The Rules in Brief

A brief outline of the Rules are set out below.

• Each contender will need to be a full member of CSMA at the time of registration.
• The best four results from the five Rounds will count for each registered driver.
• All participants will be awarded Double Points at the 6th event, the Championship Finals Day, to be held on Monday October 12th 2009.
• The Championship will be FREE to enter for Members* but there will be an Entry Fee for EACH round. The Entry Fees will be negotiated by CSMA with each individual Circuit & will represent excellent value for money.
• Championship points will be awarded to each participant who takes part at each of the five Rounds, and the top 10 finishers at each event will earn additional points in a descending order.
• There will be three weight categories : under 80kgs, 80 to 90kgs; and over 90kgs. ( TBC ! ). All events will be preceded by a Race-ready weigh-in.
• In the unlikely event of a dispute of any kind regarding the Championship and/or it’s heats, the judgement of the Championship co-ordinator will be final and absolute.

Trophies & Awards will be presented immediately following a Grand Finale which will be held at a prestigious event and venue at the end of the year.

Points/Championship positions will be published on our website as soon as practical after each Round.

We’ll require a minimum of 36 drivers to ‘sign-up’ to the Championship and each will need to register prior to the first Round on March 2nd 2009.
