What a day. Proof positive that Allan can't always arrange dry weather for our events but also a great opportunity to test everyone driving skills to the max!

Everyone spent the morning playing with race formats. Allan had a good old time inventing race formats based around a staggard grid format.
With the fast racers almost a lap down on the slower people in the group, there was all to play for. And with even more racing going on than normal, nobody even had a chance to notice the wet!

We had plenty of new faces racing alongside the regulars. Although there were some notable escapades onto the grass early on in the day and some people tried going backwards through corners to see if it was any quicker (it wasn't!) the track staff were extremely impressed with the driving on show.

At the start of the afternoon endurance event the track was a virtual lake with the karts slick tyres unable to even get down the straight without huge amounts of aquaplaining.
It certainly led to some exciting moments.
Well done to everyone on the day but a special congrats to Kevin for an absolutely stella improvement from last time out. It's great to see our newer members coming up to speed quickly, maybe next time out we'll see Kevin in the A final!!
