Hello karters. It's been a while since the end of last season but that doesn't mean we have not been up to anything! The committee have been hard at work putting together the 2010 outdoor season as well as a number of other exciting initiatives for CSMA members.
There is a fair amount to get through but we hope you'll agree that 2010 is looking like a great year for your karting needs!

| October 18th | Full Race Day. | Rye House, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. | Championship Grand Final - Double header event. |
We've just released details for the 2010 CSMA Karting Championship. The Championship takes place over 6 events again this year. As well as visits to Rye House and Whilton Mill, we will also be making our first club visits to Daytona Milton Keynes, Daytona Surrey and Thruxton Kart Track.
We've added in an extra weight category in an attempt to even everyone out through the field.
We've also turned the Grand Final event at Rye House in October, into a true double header event! Instead of running our usual endurance event in the afternoon, we'll be running additional sprint racing. Morning and afternoon racing will both have full points on offer. Definitely not one to miss if you plan on figuring in the final standings.
You'll also not want to miss our new venues for another very good reason! TWO COMPLETELY FREE RACE EVENTS! See the big weekend below for details.
The Championship page on the website has been updated with all the latest information, the rules and there is also an entry form for you to fill out and return.

An event designed to offer "a kaleidoscope of karting" for everyone in the family.
This event will have taster sessions for anyone interested in trying their hand at karting without having to break the bank! There will be taster sessions for novices, ladies and juniors at the incredible price of £10 per 10min session. We can cater for juniors as young as 6 on a dedicated track with special safety equipment!
Not only will these taster sessions run throughout the evening, there will also be a race evening of practice, heats and finals for the more adventurous. This race event is open to all and is a bargain at £40 per driver. (All skill levels welcome).
As with all our events, all equipment will be provided. Final details to be confirmed but on track action is expected to start at 6pm and go on late into the evening.
We'll be publishing confirmed details on the website and via other CSMA Club methods in due course, so keep your eyes peeled!
If you haven't heard about the CSMA Club Big Weekend, you will soon. It's a "pull out all the stops" event taking place at the Thruxton in Hampshire on the bank holiday weekend of Aug 28th and 29th. As well as all the circuit action taking place, there will be plenty of attractions for all the family.
CSMA Karting are excited to announce that CSMA members attending the event will be eligible for FREE karting taster sessions! All the details will be released as the event approaches, but keep an eye out for details in the magazine and on the website.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
As well as free taster sessions, CSMA Karting will also be running a FREE full on race evening on both Saturday and Sunday! From 5pm-9pm on Saturday and 5pm-7pm on Sunday we will be running a free event. In order to get a place, you need to be a registered championship contender and also attend at least two of our qualifier events (taking place at Daytona Milton Keynes, Daytona Surrey and our earlier visit to the Thruxton Kart Track). Just another bonus for those karters who support our club through the year.
We will be releasing information as it gets finalised, including race formats but it's not everyday you get offered the chance to race for free - and it's all with CSMA Club and CSMA Karting.
Our first outdoor event of the season is open for bookings. You can find all the details on the website along with an entry form. Book early to avoid disappointment - this is also round 1 of the Championship so places go quickly.
